Who we are
Waar Is Airco is the controller for personal data processed via waarisairco.nl. Questions? Email [email protected].
What we process
Business accounts: if you sign in as a business, we process your email address for the sign-in link (no password) and the venues you manage.
AC votes: when you indicate whether a place has AC, we store your vote anonymously using a random identifier in a cookie. It is not linked to your identity.
Technical data: for security and operation we process limited technical data such as IP address and browser type in temporary logs.
Purposes and legal basis
We use data to provide the service (performance of a contract), to keep the site secure and working (legitimate interest), and to place non-essential cookies only with your consent.
Processors and third parties
We host data with Supabase (servers within the EU) and send emails via Resend. Weather data comes from OpenWeather. Map data and tiles come from OpenStreetMap contributors and OpenFreeMap. For cookieless statistics we use Umami. These parties only process what is needed to deliver the service.
We do not sell your data.
Retention
We keep data no longer than necessary. Account data is kept while your account is active; afterwards we delete or anonymise it. Technical logs are kept briefly.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and you may withdraw consent. Email your request to [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. We may update this statement; the current version is always on this page.
